You would have to say the above caption says it all.   One finds it hard to believe that in the year 2003 we have come no further in our efforts to co-operate with our fellow man.

The disruptions that the CFMEU want to impose on Grocon can only be described as share bastardry in my book and the end result can only be the workers involved will ultimately suffer.

Regardless of whether we think unions are a good thing or a bad thing surely in this day and age we can stand for what be believe in i.e. the worker should have the last say in his decision to negotiate his contract, whether it be through his union or with his employer.   This is what enterprise bargaining should be about and I always thought it was.   

It is time the 'Sacred Cows' stopped milking the country and started spreading the butter it has accumulated more evenly.

Update 6/01/07:  Well what a can of worms I opened - let's see what happens this year.   I still believe the worker has the right to the last say providing he is prepared to work..
