The author was inspired to write ‘Poor Poppy and the Chocolate Man’ to help bring to the attention of all parents the realization that their children can become victims of a pedophile. At the same time she wishes to give the reader an insight into behind the scenes of the unknowing families, the law enforcement’s detectives’ efforts to help stamp out these ever increasing everyday heinous acts of behavior and the recognition for the introduction of harsher sentences.

The author also wishes to state that whilst the Australian Government has apologised to the stolen generation it is her heartfelt wish that through the pages of ‘Poor Poppy and the Chocolate Man’ a sincere apology will reach all of the children who have become victims of a pedophile.

A Crowing Hen

An Article

by

Rose C Taylor

“A crowing woman like a crowing hen is neither good for God nor men”

Is Crowing Gillard so lacking in her life that she has to depend on hugs and kisses from the members of the front bench in order to feel fulfilled? The recent number of photos in the news portraying hugs and kisses within the Labor Party is fast becoming the order of the day.

To display such behavior as a means of celebrating the death of work choices clearly condones the return to the domination of the unions who have no respect for the rights of small business and/or their employees.

Surely Crowing Gillard cannot believe that the mandate giving to her party in 2007 still applies in the financial turmoil of 2009.

An article, back when Crowing Gillard was in opposition, quoted her as saying, “A conman broke my heart”.  May I be quoted as saying, “Has every working Australian been conned?” Are we to really believe that Australians are now so lucky that work choices are gone and that they can thank Crowing Gillard for it?  Far better that Australians understand the consequences of what is now described as “fair Work”, not “a fair go” and, that in time, business will take matters into their own hands.  Every Australian must prepare themselves for the obvious; the wealth of our nation will become the wealth of foreign countries.

If as they say, “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned,” (Congreve 1670-1729)[1] then we can begin to understand why Crowing Gillard continuously berates the opposition.

Could we assume then that this is the reason why Fielding caved in to her rather than stick to his guns?

Should we also be asking is this the reason why he demanded that Crowing Gillard hug him?  If we are to believe that Fielding is known to make demands that cannot be met would it be politically correct to say, that his demanding of this particular hug, was not one of them?

Unfortunately for all of us Fielding has a habit of resorting to political tricks in order to gain media attention. His time wasting antics only serve to give Crowing Gillard more unnecessary exposure to the press in order for her to continuously spout, “We were given a mandate by the people in 2007.”

“The new laws will increase union workplace entry rights and provide for a centralised umpire, Fair Work Australia, to set minimum wages, settle industrial disputes and hear unfair dismissal claims.”[2] (Patricia Karvelas, March 2009).

“Who’s watching the unions while the unions are watching you?” [3] (Rose Taylor March 2009).

Because politics has been put before jobs, jobs, and more jobs, all that has been achieved is that the interests of the Labor party have overtaken the financial needs of employers, small business and ultimately the well being of working Australians.

“If God helps those who help themselves”;[4] (Hezekiah 6:1) then, “God help those who now face the ramifications of the death of “Work Choices!”[5]
